Dr. Milam Raemsch, DPM is board qualified in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is also an associate member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Raemsch was born and raised in Austin, TX. After graduating from Texas State University with a major in Biology and a minor in Biochemistry, he went to Barry University in Miami, FL where he obtained his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed a comprehensive three-year surgical residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at West Houston Medical Center in Houston, Tx. While in residency Dr. Raemsch trained and did surgery with world renowned surgeons of all specialties included cardiothoracic and plastic surgeons to develop the clinical and surgical skills he shares with patients every day.
Dr. Raemsch specializes in foot and ankle reconstruction, as well as sports related injuries and the treatment of arthritis of the foot and ankle. This includes fracture repair, repair of tendons and ligaments as well as Arthroscopy of the foot and ankle through a minimal incision. Dr. Raemsch believes communication and transparency are the cornerstone of patient relationship and strives to provide every patient a comprehensive approach of conservative and surgical treatment options.
Dr. Raemsch enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, golf, gardening and is an avid outdoorsman.
